Aims of Pupil Premium funding

Everyone at Ravenswood Primary School is committed to ensuring our children achieve not only the best academic outcomes possible, but also meeting their pastoral and social needs while they attend our school. We are committed to 'narrowing the gap' between vulnerable pupils and their peers and the use of the PP funding forms a vital part of this process.

We will use the PP funding for:

  • Facilitating pupils’ access to education
  • Facilitating pupils’ access to the curriculum
  • Alternative support and intervention within the school

Reporting on Pupil Premium funding

The Governing body at Ravenswood CP School have the responsibility to explain how the pupil premium funding has been spent throughout the school each year. The Pupil Premium Governance lead will submit termly reports to the Governing body to keep them appraised of the progress.

At the end of the academic year, the final report will detail the attainment and progress of pupils who are covered by the premium and the intervention that has been supported by the additional funding. Reports will also detail the progress made towards narrowing the gap which will be supported by reported data and academic progress.
